I've done the roller coaster and the rocket shoot.... the coaster is lame unless you're afraid of heights but the rocket is a rush, especially at night.

I have ridden all three...the High Roller is not really a thrill ride. The Big Shot is very scary especially when you're drunk. The X-scream is very scary, it jerks you around in a very unpredictable manner and once again should only be ridden while drunk. I would not pay the rather exhorbitant prices to ride them again. But I would highly recommend for everyone to go to the top of the Stratosphere if only for the view.

They are lame. The X-thingy is a little better, but the $7 I think it is to ride the roller coaster and the "shot" are a joke. I think there is more fear in most people before the shot takes off than during the ride. People are all clutching thinking it will take off any second. Once it does you hear a bunch of people say "is that all it is?". Same for the roller coaster, you come out thinking "can't this go any faster?". The observation deck is a must-see, but pass on the rides unless someone else is paying...
